On behalf of Ministry of Tribal Affairs and Ministry of Culture, 'Prakriti-2009', a Festival of Tribal Arts is being organized from 21 st to 23 rd February, 2009 at Meghdoot Open Theatre, Rabindra Bhawan Complex, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi. A total of 21 tribal dance forms sponsored by seven Zonal Cultural Centres are putting up choreographed cultural shows in the event. Folk dancers from all over India, such as Jabro form Jammu & Kashmir, Lahauti from Himachal Pradesh and Irula from Tamil Nadu are participating. Entry for the shows on 22 nd & 23 rd February, 2009 (6.00 to 7.30 PM) is free.
